Designed for DWDM optical networks, the Stimax WDM96 series is a AWG (Array Waveguide Grating) Multiplexer that can combine up to 96 channels of ITU wavelengths into a single fiber. Conversely, the WDM-96-50 can be used to Demultiplex 96 channels of ITU wavelengths from a single fiber. The WDM-96-50 covers 96 DWDM channels, each one with 50 GHz (0.4nm) channel spacing. The full operating wavelength range is from 1527.22nm to 1565.09nm.
To ensure long-term stable operation, WDM series product is precisely temperature stabilized by an internal integrated temperature controller. This WDM Multiplexer can simply be plugged in to 110VAC to operate. This unique design enables new benchmarks to be set in design flexibility, performance, and overall cost.
